Brad Hogg on his YouTube Channel picked his top 3 batsmen of the decade, with Kumar Sangakkara is among them in batsmen of the decade list.
He disagreed with the names of David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Kane Williamson, Joe Root, Steve Smith, Babar Azam, Ross Taylor and many more with the fact that they all have not been succeeded in both Test and ODI cricket, he applied the rule before picking up the names that the selection will be on the performances of ODIs, Tests while T20Is will be considered for just 10% so he dismissed those all mentioned names.
He picked Kumar Sangakkara as his choice for all formats as he was most successful before taking retirement, he also got retirement at his peak when he was so good at scoring runs with so much ease.
He also picked Ab De Villiers and Virat Kohli in his choices, although he admired the mentioned names but he got his work out with the proofs of justifying the selection of all three names.
He mentioned Kumar Sangakkara was scoring runs with over 50 average, so does Ab De Villiers, they all had some success in overseas tours as well, while before picking the name of Virat Kohli, he also mentioned his runs, records and centuries that he scored.
Virat Kohli has scored 69 centuries in this decade of period combined in both formats with most no. of Man of the match awards, Man of the series etc.
